MARLIN 98 22LR SEMI-AUTO RIFLE

THIS IS A MARLIN 98 SEMI-AUTO CHAMBERED FOR 22 SHORT,22 LONG, Marlin 98 was made for a short time from 1957-1959 with 9061 made during that time. It has a 20" barrel with hooded front sight and standard leaf rear sight adjustable for elevation. It has a unique loading system. The tube magazine comes from the rear with a loading slot in the back right side of stock. It will hold 16 short and 11 lr shells. This rifle is in good working metal is blued and the stock is hardwood with walnut finish and has small handling only bad places are a small nick on the bottom of the butt stock near the toe. The barrel has had someone's name engraved lightly on barrel, opposite the Marlin brand name at the back of barrel. Wit stock on it is hard to see. Overall a nice model.
