Here is a like new Marlin model 336 lever action rifle in the highly desirable .35 Remington caliber. This gun has the J.M. barrel stamp which represents "John Marlin" the original manufacturer and designer of the rifle. Later models do not have this marking. These J.M. stamped guns are always considered better quality as they are pre- Remington owned rifles and much more collectible. This is as factory new with 98% or better wood and metal. Please note as shown in the pictures it is without the front sight hood. (Almost everyone took them off for better lighting when aligning the sights to shoot).
