M1878 Swiss Vetterli rifle. Feel free to email us for a larger photo. Serial number 187603. Metal parts have medium to dark patina overall with some rust on the buttplate. Stock very good, showing average wear and use, has a small crack by barrel key and three worn gouges on left side of forearm. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
