Seller Description
M1878 Sharps-Borchardt 45-70 military rifle. Serial number 19331. Barrel and frame have substantial original blue finish with attractive smooth surfaces mixing with brown patina. Stock is lightly cleaned and has numerous light/moderate handling marks and a couple minor edge cracks in the grain near the frame. Stock is overall in very sound condition, free of major problems. Original cleaning rod. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
