M1 Garand stock

This is NOT for sale at this time. Need information from others who may was brought in by a family, who's great uncle had collected firearms and at one point worked for winchester. guns were disposed of years ago, but this was recently discovered. attempting to determine if real or??? stock in super condition, with tons of burl. the pieces appear to match very closely. the wra ghd stamp very clear. it was on a rifle at one time,as the indentation on reciever area. there is a number of 223 stamped in the ferrule area, but too faint to photo. looks like a presentation stock. super piece of wood, but don't know about it's help would be appreciated...
