Here are Government Issue style Slings for the venerable M-1 Carbines. They are mil spec OD green Cotton Web, 1 inch width, with blued steel hardware. Surplus packaging that these came in indicated a 1990 manufacture date. Supply Sergeant’s number is 1, date of 2/90. Specs are 1 inch wide, 45 inches long fully extended; but the actual looped length in battery is more like 30 to 36 inches. We ran across these sitting in an old Southern Warehouse; we were glad to get them, because we use a good many of them ourselves. If these are not US made, they are South Korean, we cannot tell but that is an educated guess.
