This is a Lee Enfield No 4 MK 1 .303 Cal Long Branch 1942 made in Canada. The stamped serial number on the clip and the bolt matches the rifles serial number which is 14L1284. Other markings are "TS Knox TN 303 British/No. 4 CANADA." The rifle has a ladder sight and the bore shoots rifle is fully functional. There are numerous scratches on the finish as if someone buffed it with a scratch pad or fine sandpaper. Also, the stock has been professionally repaired and staked in places, but this does not affect the function of the fact, it actually adds some character to the rifle.
