Krieghoff Classic double rifle chambered in 500/416 (500 Nitro Express necked down to .416 for extraordinary penetration). Standard grade wood and extractors, nickel receiver with light engraving. Length of pull is 15 inches from forward (articulated) trigger to Kick-Eez recoil pad. Weight is 11 pounds, including an aftermarket recoil reduction tube installed in the stock. Sling swivel studs. Serial 969XX. Wood: Checkered beavertail forend with slight Schnabel tip. Checkered stock with (right hand) cheekpiece. Metal: Barrels are 23.5 inches long. Front ramp sight, standing rear express "V" and corresponding (factory) aperture over chambers. Rib is professionally drilled and tapped for optics. Condition: Commensurate with use on a single safari. Overall condition is at least 95%, with some slight impressions and scratches in wood. Thorn-gouged recoil pad. Metal finish is very good, with a small area left of safety that shows result of either blood or solvent exposure. Single owner rifle with low round count. Details: Price is firm.
