Kimber of Oregon Model 89 Big Game Rifle in .35 Whelen. An early BGR in an uncommon chambering, serial number 8901636 has a 24-inch plain barrel (satin blue), matte blue action with Kimber bases, ebony forend tip, panel checkering, inletted (Howell-type) sling swivel studs and a steel grip cap. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 7.8 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.6 inches. CONDITION: Likely unfired since factory proof, the bore is pristine. Barrel finish is approximately 98 percent, with one minor ding on the underside near the muzzle and several trace tarnish dots over the chamber area. Action finish is at least 99 percent with trace indications of handling. Wood is 98 percent, with one small impression immediately under the model marking on receiver left and another at the heel.
