Japanese Murata Type 13 style bolt action shotgun. Only marking is "50" at the barrel breech, possibly a caliber marking, bore measures about .55" on drop in bore gauge. 34-1/2" barrel with traditional Japanese sights often seen on matchlock long arms. Metal parts have a dark patina overall. Stock is good with original surfaces and checkering, shows scattered minor marks from use, and diamond-shaped escutcheon in the forearm is pulled through the wood, so the stock is loose to the metal. Forearm tip is missing a small insert, a trigger guard screw is absent, and bolt is missing the stop screw. Otherwise mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
