JC Higgins (Marlin 57) Model 44M - 22 Mag

JC Higgins Model 44 DLM in 22 mag. Lever action, tube feed “twin” to the Marlin 57 with the exception of a chromed lever. Made by Marlin for Sears. Gun is 80-85% with some dings in the walnut stock . There is an spot in the stock, just behind the receiver that has been filled (as shown in the photo). Shoots well and the action is tight. Holds at least 15 rounds of 22 mag.
