We are offering for sale an antique J.P. CLABROUGH & BROS. SxS shotgun chambered in 12Ga. This is a very scarce SIDE LEVER break action shotgun. This gun remains in very good, fully functioning condition. 27” Laminated Steel barrels are good to very good. Surface shows age toning, light oxidation wear, freckling. Bores are good with oxidation wear. Break action works well with side lever functioning flawlessly. The decoratively engraved receiver is very good age toning; light oxidation wear. Sidelocks are both marked for J.P. Clabrough and shows beautiful scroll engravings. Hammers cock back and fire forward excellently! Both firing pins are in perfect working order. The high quality furniture remains in very good condition. Shoulder stock is near excellent without any damage noted. Splinter fore-end has small chip in front of the receiver on the left side; Decorative horn accent mint. LOP is 14.5” from front trigger. Buttplate good with moderate wear.
