Case colors on the action around 5% remaining. Pistol grips style stock with minimal hunting wear. Hairline cracks near action (see photo) and chipped buttplate and small chip in the butt of the stock. Rt handed cheek piece. Scalloped action, cocking indicators, Nitro proofed, side clips, screws look perfect, double triggers, extractors, sling swivels, greener crossbolt, and rib extension. Barrels are bright but both have some pitting. Barrels are 28 3/8" long and choked full and full. LOP is 14 ¾" over original buttplate. Action is tight on face, and feels like new. Weight is 6.9 lbs. Barrel is stamped with the following: SPECIAL GEWEHR LAUF-STAHL S.G. 1 (German Special Steel). Inspection consists of external examination, functioning the action by hand to see it operates as advertised, checking bore and having headspace checked by a gunsmith. No further disassembly is permitted, include but not limited to turning any screws or removing any punch pins. Firearms are sold as collectibles and have not been test fired nor headspaced. A qualified gunsmith should examine all firearms before shooting. The product must be returned in the same condition as received and freight paid. Do not return the product COD as it will be refused. SHIPPING- I try to ship within 2-3 business days or less. All rifles/shotguns are shipped in new plastic hardcases inside a cardboard box to prevent damage. If you do not want the case, it can be returned for a $13 refund. I am tired of fighting with UPS and FedEx and this seems to have solved 99% of the problems associated with shipping damage.
