The SAIGA-XTC features world renowned AK47 reliability! This tactical conversion starts with a NIB Russian Izhmash SAIGA 12 gauge semi-auto shotgun. We relocate the original trigger guard next to the magazine; install our customized USA G2 trigger group, and replace the bolt hold open & axis pin springs with improved US mfg. springs. We use ultra-premium matte black GUN-KOTE™ metal coating & finish-originally developed for the US Military! GUN-KOTE™ metal coating and finish was first specified by the US Military for use on SOCOM Special Sniper Weapons (SPR’s) in 2003. GUN-KOTE™ is superior to parkerized, blued, or air dry “paint” finishes in both durability and performance. GUN-KOTE™ helps protect metal parts from rust, corrosion, & scratches and will not break down, peel or dissolve. GUN-KOTE™ is resistant to all known gun solvents, oils, acids, and thinners. GUN-KOTE™ is formulated to provide excellent impact resistance, lubricity (meets military dry firing specs), heat dissipation, chemical resistance, corrosion protection, durability, and scratch resistance. It is specially formulated for salt corrosion protection and meets US Military requirements for "Resistant to Chemicals".
