Ithaca Model 87 Featherlite - Deerslayer

This is a Ithaca model 87 Featherlite with "Deerslayer" printed on the barrel. The barrel is 20" long and seems smooth when I stick my finger into the end of it. This gun takes 2-3/4" & 3" shells as it says so on the barrel. It says on the barrel: Ithaca gun, Ithaca, NY. This gun has never been fired since I purchased it new maybe ten years ago. I can't remember for sure. Gun comes with a vinyl case -felt lined. I just put some 12 Ga shells in the gun and took the shells out, maybe a dozen times, but thats all I did with the gun. It just sat in my climate controlled house protected in the vinyl case (included). Looks brand-new. The magazine holds 5 with one in the barrel - total 6 shells.
