Ithaca Lefever Long Range Field and Trap 410

Introduced in 1927 as the Lefever Long Range Single Barrel Field and Trap, (known as the Model 2) and built until 1942 when it was discontinued. This gun is serial #9194 manufactured in 1928. A 410 gauge gun, single-shot break-open action, 26 inch IM choke barrel and brass bead front sight. It features a tang safety, 2 1/2 inch chamber, ejector, pistol grip cap and waterfowl engraving on both sides of the receiver. LOP is 14 inches to a hard rubber butt plate. The forearm and butt stock are hand checkered black walnut with the original finish. Forearm is very nice…checkering is sharp. Barrel bluing is excellent. Bluing on the receiver shows some wear. Stock shows some wear but has no cracks or chips. Scarce little gun weighing less than 5 1/2 pounds. A great starter gun for a youngster. Must ship to an FFL; C&R ok.
