Italian Terni M38 Short Rifle 7.35 Carcano - circa 1939

This Italian Terni M38 bolt action rifle chambered in 7.35 Carcano comes equipped with fixed rear sights, and a fixed blade front sight. the bore is in fairly good condition; definite usage wear on firearm metal finish. a 20" barrel gives the rifle a 40" OAL. the wood stock of the firearm is in fairly good condition, however several pieces of the stock have been removed due to this being a "sporterized" version, and while that may affect the value, it does not affect the firearms functionality. 1939 MFG. This rifle is one of 94,500 that were shipped to Finland from Italy in 1940; and issued to non-front line troops, and civilians in remote villages close to the eastern border of Finland.
