Inland M1 Carbine, Loaded!

This carbine was purchased through the DCM in 1958, by a Korean War vet who carried one. The serial number is: 5063405. The rifle was mounted in the full stock when he bought it. The stock is in excellent condition, no dings, dents or scratches. There is a little discoloration in the pistol grip and R/H side of the receiver areas. I suspect that some mineral spirits will take care of it. The cartouche is RIA over EB, boxed. It has the correct sling & oil bottle. Both appear to be excellent condition. The barrel is Inland, 2-42 and the metal work is in 96/98% condition. The bore is mint. The folding stock looks like every mil-spec version I've seen, but doesn't have the NSN number, so even though appearing mil-spec, I don't believe it's other than a very well done copy. The owner got it in the early 60's, so it's been around for awhile, also. It's in as-new condition, other than where the swivel shoulder plate strikes it. The bayonet is the M8A1 & correct w/leather handle and has never been sharpened, the blade is still black. Excellent condition. The rifle comes with an original paratrooper jump case for the gun when in the folding stock and a two mag case w/2 15 shot mags with the rubber boots on them. The mags are in excellent condition except for where the boots covered them for 45 years. That area is a little rusty. Also included are 2 30 shot mags, in excellent condition.
