Description Sportsmen's Outpost is selling an IMI Uzi B model designed by Uziel Gal in 1951. The Uzi platform had been used by just about every branch of the Israel military including the special forces. Then, in 2003, the rifle was retired from the IDF (Israel Defense Force). This does not mean the rifle was forgotten, actually, quite the opposite. Hollywood became populated with the Uzi and the publics eye took a liking to it. This particular model does have the classic Uzi look to it, which includes a collapsible stock, a bolt overlap design, a closed bolt firing design, a steel receiver, a front sight with adjustments for elevation, and a rear sight with adjustments for windage.
