Heym (FW) Dural drilling in 16 x 16 x 7x57R. Serial 41682 (followed by "AH") has 23.5-inch barrels with a blade front sight and pop-up rear rifle sight. The matted rib is fitted with bases for detachable claw mounts (not present). Shotgun barrel chambers are 2.75 inches and chokes are F/F. The boxlock Dural (alloy) action wears basic scroll engraving accents. Additional features include mechanical triggers, extractor, mechanical safety, bushed strikers, horn guard and sling loops. DIMENSIONS: Weight is just 6.4 pounds and length-of-pull is 14.25 inches. CONDITION: The bores are strong and bright with a hint of roughness just ahead of the chamber in the rifle bore. Barrels are on face and the opening lever rests just left of center. Trigger pulls are crisp. Finish over the barrels is approximately 75 percent with some thinning. Action finish is approximately 80 percent. The horn guard has a repaired and nearly invisible hairline crack. Wood is approximately 85 percent with scattered impressions and thinning oil finish.
