Grips S&W model 39 639 Walnut Factory Panels ca. 1975 Smith & Wesson 9mm

GR0547 Grips for model 39 series pistols are never easy to find. Here’s a set that served in Law Enforcment with normal wear on the right panel’s lower edges, and similar but less extensive wear at the same place on the left panel. We rate this set as only Good, but photos ought to suffice for our shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. This set is thick enough to rechecker and refinish, but we lack the talent, time, and expertise to accomplish that. Construction is American Walnut, with factory nickel plated logo plates, both of them with strong nickel intact. We never run across these. This set came to us on a 639, and we replaced them with Pachmayrs that matched the stainless gun very well. Rubber grips are ugly, of course, on blue pistols. These are still attractive.
