Here is a very distinctive Carl Schleiper German Eye, a one-blade, heavy convex stainless / Rostfrei blade in a heavy non-locking handle setup that measures 3 1/2 inches overall length closed. Handle panels are nicely aged, mildly pocket worn flat ridged obverse and swelled contour reverse with no cracks or blemishes. German nickel bolsters exhibit light surface wear, tiny pecks but nothing conspicuous, and the blade rivet pin is classic Eye Brand dark steel. Blade is its full original 3 inches from heel to point, with moderate high-bevel sharpening evidence, and the Surgical Steel inked brand logo is fully intact on the obverse side of the convex hollow ground clip blade. Note the classic long serrated pull on the blade. This knife is perfect mechanically, and this is the only one of this type that has come into our store in at least 20 years.
