The GLOCK G45 Compact Semi-Auto Pistol has the features of Gen 5 series Glocks, on a model 17 frame, with Glock 19 slide/barrel. Offers the best crossover option for consealabilty with grip comfort. A new updated version of the Glock 19X. The slide and metal parts of the G45 are coated with ion-bonded, nDLC coating for increased protection against corrosion and scratching, and improved ability to function in dry conditions with minimal lubrication. The muzzle end of the slide has been beveled for smooth draw and snagless reholstering. Finger grooves, incorporated on earlier GLOCK models, have been eliminated on the G45 frame to enhance speed of getting the shooter's fingers into a correct hold. An ambidextrous slide stop lever and a reversible magazine catch accommodate both right- and left-handed shooters. A Marksman barrel with polygonal rifling provides exceptional accuracy. A Modular Backstrap System (MBS) allows shooters to instantly customize the grip size to individual hand size, or to gloves. Rough textured frame surface (RTF) on the polymer frame provides a sure hold on the pistol when hands are wet or sweaty. An integral accessory rail in front of the trigger guard allows for the attachment of aftermarket tactical accessories.
