French Mle 1874 Gras rifle. Serial number 21927, appears to be all matching. Metal parts have a dark patina overall with some scattered light rust and plumb blue finish on the barrel. Stock has strong cartouches with a date of 1875, also has name "" stamped behind the triggerguard. Stock shows light wear and use overall with scattered light to moderate handling marks and some minor chipping in the cleaning rod channel. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
