Seller Description
In 1867, France adopted a breechloader similar to the British Snider. Within a few years it was obsolete and many were converted in Belgium to shoot shot shells. They were sold for many years as "Zulu guns" to colonies in Africa and Asia. This one has French and Belgian proofs and is in operational condition but needs a proper cleaning of rust. This gun is not for shooting! Sold "as is" and would make a dandy floor lamp or wall-hanger. Classified as Antique.
