58 cal, serial number 05XX. Euroarms of America Confederate Cook & Brother Artillery Carbine. Made in Italy. 24" barrel. The case hardened lock is marked Cook & Brothers N.O. 1861 with a 7 star flag stamped at the rear of the lock, behind the hammer. Brass hardware, antique brown finish on barrel, walnut stock.
