ENFIELD NO4 MK2 IRISH CONTRACT MATCHING BAYONET

This No4 Mk2 rifle was manufactured by the Fasakerley armory in Jan. 1954 as part of the Irish contract [PF316xxx]. As you can see, it did not remain in the UK in wrap but was delivered and used. There is a false rumor that the Enfield rifles under the Irish contract were not delivered to Ireland. Members of the FCA [Forsa Cosanta Aitiuil- Local Defense Force] have written on several blogs dispelling this idea originally created by a self appointed expert on Enfield rifles. Of the 50,000 Irish contract Enfields most were not delivered because of the then change over to the FN 308 platform. This rifle has a bright barrel. ALL NUMBERS MATCH INCLUDING THE No9 Mk1 BAYONET AND THE SCABBARD. The rifle has the British acceptance proof, a brass butt plate, the MK2 micro rear sight and comes with a proper sling, breach cover and bayo frog. If interested, ask for more photos. SHIPPING: All firearms will be shipped Priority Mail with insurance and delivery confirmation. LEGAL REQUIREMENT- Modern firearms must be transferred through a licensed FFL dealer in Buyer's area. Buyer must supply to Seller a copy of Buyer's driver license and a copy of Buyer's local FFL dealer's license before shipment will be made. A C&R License is acceptable for C&R firearms. All handguns are shipped to an FFL. SAFETY NOTICE- Buyer is solely responsible for determining that the firearm purchased is safe to shoot. By bidding, the buyer agrees to hold seller harmless against damages, injury, or death caused by buyer's failure to have the firearm properly inspected for safety. RETURN POLICY- All firearms come with a 3-day return policy conditioned upon the firearm being returned in exactly the condition mailed- not being fired , messed with in any way. In the case of a return, buyer pays all shipping charges. YOU HAVE A 3 DAY INSPECTION PERIOD FROM THE DATE OF DELIVERY TO FFL OR C&R DEALER.
