Custom Rifle: 300 Ultra Mag Lilja-McMillan Custom 300 Remington Ultra Magnum, Bruce Baer blueprinted Remington 700 action with Sako extractor, action face, recoil lugs cut and lapped, receiver threads recut, Tubb firing pin and 40X honed trigger and base .8/40 receiver screws. Lilja SS Matchgrade Fluted 27 inch barrel with 1 in 12 inch twist. Stock is a meticulously bedded Lazzeroni McMillan model color-injected camouflage stock with roll-over cheekpiece. HS precision magazine box holds 3 plus 1; this is a fixed magazine, not detachable. Ken Farrell one-piece scope base included. Rifle is caliber stamped. NOTE -- THE SCOPE IS NOT INCLUDED -- ALREADY SOLD. Also includes the Answer Products Muzzle Brake in stainless steel, concave front; screws onto barrel. Has been bead blasted at factory. Rifle is in excellent shape; essentially new. I purchased it back in 2003 from a fellow in Midland, Georgia and never used the rifle. He had only fired for break-in and load development. Shoots low .3,s at 100 yards and .88 inch moa at 300 yards. Weight of the rifle with scope base is about 9 pounds (using a bathroom scale, so may not be precise.)
