Custom 700 Rem 25 Souper Ack IMP

Here for your viewing pleausre is a virtually NEW [40-50 rounds fired] Remington 700 ADL CUSTOM made in the hot little 25 Souper Ackley Improved. This little jewel gets velocity all out of perspective to it`s size. Equally as fast or faster than a 25-06 with less barrel and noise and recoil. This is a LIGHT WEIGHT dream. It weighs about 6.2 lbs and shoots SUB M.O.A!! It originally began life as a standard 25 Souper but I got a hair up my ??? and decided to make it into an "improved" version for s$$$s and giggles. Most times when you do this you lose out on loading flexibility and/or accuracy. Not so in this case. It originally shot 1/2"-5/8" groups [3 shot] but went even smaller with the additional 4.5 grains of powder. Amazing to say the least. This rifle is based on the GREAT Remington 700 action with a 23" Shilen XX C.M. barrel in the #2 sporter profile. .560 Muzzle diameter. The action has been trued lapped in, polished and squared throughout. It sports a Bansner Mountain Rifle stock and is 14 LOP and pillar bedded. A Tubb recoil lug was also used. A very good quality Redfield 2-7 scope is mounted and zeroed. As my wife has one of these the dies do not go with the rifle but I will be glad to facilitate acqisition from CH4D dies for the winning bidder and this will save him/her some money. It does come with the ammo loaded for it and the loading data. There is not much as this particular rifle was n`t shot more than 50 rounds so it is virtually new and still needs breaking in.
