Civil War Smith Carbine/ Artillery Model/ RARE Low Serial#...#10,XXX. Very Good condition for a Civil War issued Carbine. Lettering and numbers in Very Good condition, Swivels, Action, Wood, in very good condition. The butt stock where it connects to the Action has minor splintering as is common with CW Smiths.\ Bore in very cond condition with good riffling. The exterior portion of the barrel has vintage pitting, no roughness. The nipple has been replaced with a period nipple as most of the original black powder nipples had major corrosion from use during the Civil War. Front and Rear sights in very good condition. A nice Civil War Smith Carbine that was used during the civil war.
