Colt / Compass Lake Engineering Match HBAR Space Gun 24" AR15

This is a used Colt (Post-94) Match Target Match HBAR A2, Cal. 223, lower assembly, customized by Frank White from Compass Lake Engineering. This rifle was purchased new by an FFL associate of mine and he sent it to Compass Lake to have converted into a Space Gun. This has a stainless 24” match barrel, free floated, with a rear PNW Match Micrometer adjustable rear sight ($320 retail brand new) with an AHG rear sight iris ($65 retail brand new), an OK Weber front adjustable iris front sight ($60 retail brand new), and an Compass Lake Engineering 2-Stage “CLE” adjustable trigger ($128 retail brand new). It comes with the leather sling as pictured. Total mods without the Colt lower, bolt carrier group, and internals are at nearly $1600. You never see these around anymore, and these are some of the most accurate AR's on the market today. The upper receiver is “C AF” marked. The bolt carrier group is “C” marked and the key is properly staked on an M16 bolt carrier. The bolt is MPHC marked. It has a two-position plastic collapsible stock. I am a certified Colt AR armorer and I personally went through this rifle. This does not come with a magazine. I obtained this rifle back in 2013 as a trade. As I had no interest in distance/match shooting it sat in my safe for a few years and I decided it needs to go to a home where it can be shot and not occupy space in my safe.
