The Kalashnikov system, the most popular operating system of semi-automatic and automatic weapons in the world is applied in Zastava's N-PAP. Designed as a civilian version of the famous M70, the N-PAP has the same toughness and extreme condition dependability that makes the AK-47 platform legendary.
The N-PAP has a 16.25" cold hammer forged barrel with a 1:10" twist and 14x1 LH muzzle threads. It has a stamped receiver and bolt hold-open notch on the safety selector. The bolt and bolt carrier are made from hard, nickel-moly steel for corrosion resistance. It accepts all standard AK magazines and includes one 30-round magazine. This model has a wood stock and forend.
