Browning 1885 falling-block single-shot BPCR target rifle in 40-65 caliber. One owner, dates from 1999. Matte black metal, CCH receiver, highly figured and checkered wood with cheekpiece, checkered metal buttplate, and Schnabel foreend. Heavy 30" half round/half octagon barrel, light and crisp single-stage trigger, long-range vernier tang site, Lyman front sight with interchangeable inserts and bubble level. In 98% condition and spotless bore; sale is mandated by age of owner. Rifle has been fired 3,159 rounds with cast lead bullets. Each and every round has been meticulously documented in a thick spiral-bound book as to date, load, location, etc. This rifle comes with the bound book, Leupold scope bases (installed), three rear-sight apertures, 19 front-sight apertures, RCBS trim and FL sizer dies, a 3-die Lyman set, and four dummy rounds of various OAL's.
