Seller Description
British P1853 Enfield musket. Metal parts are cleaned with scattered pitting. Replacement lock with altered hammer, dated 1872. Barrel bands are mismatched replacements. Missing sling swivels and ramrod. Stock is good except for some cracking in the triggerguard area, shows average wear and use overall. Has initials "FB" in left side of butt and numbers 3715 on barrel tang. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
