Hardened Aluminum textured Handles. Very light, but Strong built with ZERO blade play. I was surprised at the quality not just for this price range, but at any price. I have a number of Benchmade by Mel Pardue knives and these Boker's are faster opening and built with just as fine a quality and strength as My Benchmades, but less than half the price.
