Belgium proofed Nagant style double action revolver with an approximate 11mm bore, possibly .450 ? 4 3/8" part octagon bbl, inverted 'v' front sight, 'v' notched rear sight, fluted five-shot cylinder, fixed ejector rod housing(missing ejector rod), manual safety on the left side of the frame, rounded trigger, knurled hammer spur, provisions for lanyard ring on the butt and two-piece checkered wood grips. Few markings have been observed but the include a "4" & "E/LG/[star]' inside an oval on the rear cylinder face and a "[star]/D" on the frame, barrel & cylinder. The revolver displays a fine blued finish of which approximately 60% is retained, the balance is comprised of an aged brown action is mechanically sound with very good lock-up, the bore has nice luster with strong rifling & some minor pitting, and the wood grips are very good.
