Seller Description
PRICE REDUCED!!!!!! This is a rare Belgian Maquaire "Fagnus" revolver. From what I can come up with that it was made around WW1. Serial number is 156XX. Caliber is in 11mm (42 cal). One of the owners has fired light 44 mags in it, but too me I would stay with 44 Special. It's built like a tank so it may just digest the mags. Barrel length is 4 1/4" and is bright, and rifling is sharp. It has a very interesting way to get into the internal workings of the gun by way of a hinged side all the parts are polished by engine turning, that leaves the round marks that hold condition is excellent for a gun this old. It retains about 75% of its finish. The wood grips although dark show all of its checkering. The checkering is not worn flat. It locks up tight. Like I said one of the owner has fired it ,and it works perfect. More pictures are available by e-mail. You can have a three day non firing I'm incorrect in my information, please let me would make a very interesting conversation a look on the back page of the November 2012 issue of American Rifle Men. My gun looks a lot and has the same features of the one in the considered.
