• 1. Barrett M82CQ – 20” Barrel – Much more versatile than the full size M107. Much easier to pack around. Comes with the Pelican Case, cleaning kit, 2 magazines, rear mono-pod, sling, and carry handle. Gun has had less than 400 rounds through it – all good ammo and not military surplus stuff. Pistol grip was changed to the MagPul grip that feels better with this big gun and has a hollow grip to hold C123 Batteries for additional batteries for the BORS system.
  

• 2. AWC Sound Suppressor – TurboDyne – Amazingly effective. Gun sounds like a .22 LR when fired with suppressor, and NO FLASH SIGNATURE and NO DUST SIGNATURE – and the recoil is reduced by at least half. AWC will not send the suppressor to the dealer until they have fitted the suppressor to the gun – requiring a lot more time to get the package complete. But WOW – what a joy to shoot with the suppressor on.

• 3. Barrett BORS System. This includes the Leupold 4.5x14 Mark IV Tactical Scope with Mil-dot Reticle.
  • a. The BORS system is the “Barrett Optical Ranging System”. Basically, it is a little computer connected to the scope. Once you have the correct round zeroed according to the manual (which has been done by the current owner) then all you have to do is point to the target, tell the BORS system (on the lighted screen) the distance, and the BORS calculates the angle of sight, the Barometric pressure, the temperature, the bullet speed, weight, etc (basically everything except windage, for obvious reasons). All you have to do after pointing at the target and telling it the distance is turn the dial until the BORS says you are on target. And if you don’t know the distance, use the ranging function on the scope – if you can see it, you can hit it!

  • b. BORS Software so you can upload your perfect loads into the system and keep that load in the memory of the BORS system on the weapon – always ready to use when needed.
