Enfield Jungle Carbine No.5 Mk.I B.S.A.

I have an Lee-Enfield No. 5 Mk. I made by B.S.A. dated 1945. It is a very nice condition "Jungle Carbine" without any Indian Military markings on it. The carbine is dated 1945, the code for BSA which is M/47c appears complete (minus the magazine). It has a nice bore, without pitting, but is a little dark. - Overall, the barrel is in good condition for this 1945 carbine. (Good rifling). The stock does not have any cracks or issues. The carbine has import markings on the bottom of the barrel. They are very discrete and not a huge "banner,:" typical of newer import markings. B.S.A. marked "M/47C" which identifies it as one of 81,000 guns produced at the BSA Shirley facility. B.S.A. made less than 30% of the No.5 Mk. I rifles.
