AMT / TDE AMP Automag 44 Magnum / 357 Magnum Auto Mag grips.
There were only 2 grip designs to come out of the factory when these beautiful guns were manufactured by Harry Sanford, and it all depended on where your AutoMag was manufactured:
If your gun is stamped 'Pasadena', then your grips would have come from the factory with the FULL checkered design. These early grips, just like the actual gun, were assembled by hand, by trained Gunsmiths. The grips were made using hand-poured resin, so minor air bubbles are not flaws. And, because each gun was assembled by hand, each piece, including the grips, may have required 'fitting'. It is not uncommon, due the detailed molding on the backside of the grips, for them to have been filed and adjusted to fit each gun they were installed on.
If your gun is stamped 'North Hollywood' or 'El Monte', then your grips would have come from the factory with the PARTIAL checkered design.
These WILL NOT fit the AMT Automag II (22 Magnum), III (30 Carbine/9mm Magnum), IV (45 Magnum / 10mm Magnum) or V (50 AE).
