Austrian M1867 Werndl cartridge rifle

Austrian M1867 Werndl cartridge military rifle. Serial number 9660. Date coded 876 on lock for 1876. Metal parts are a mostly dark patina with scattered light pitting. Stock may have been lightly cleaned, showing scattered moderate handling marks with numerous gouges and scratches, and a couple light age cracks in the butt. Rear sight spring is broken and firing pin is reputedly missing. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
