(we tested the interchange]Consistent 5 ¼ to 5 ½ pound trigger pull – nice crisp let off (comments of a USMC distinguished pistol Marksman).  All guns are ordnance grade 4140 steel.  Made on computerized numerical control (CNC) machines.  Super plus++ - Hard Chrome lined barrels.  Each gun comes in a hard plastic foam lined gun case with gun lock.  Owner’s manual included.  All parts for our Rock Island 1911 are made to ISO 9001 standardsThey are hard to come by but I have a Colt 1911 in 38 super from Armscor it is a Rock Island Armory model and it has a really great slide frame fit and the barrel bushing fit is also tight and smooth. If you ever wanted a 38 Super but did not want to pay the premium price from Colt then this is your chance. This gun interchanges with the the colt and uses the same clips. You can't get a better gun and the wood grips are really nice looking.
