These rifles were rebarreled with modern chamberes and bores for use by the Turks. This rifle is interesting that is still has its protective plate that covers the bottom of the magazine. These are usually missing and hard to find. After these were converted to stripper clips instead of the 5rd clip the hole where the original clip would fall out was covered to help prevent mud and dirt from getting into the action. The stock is solid and does not appear sanded. The metal finish is typical of a Turkish rifle but has more bluing that most we see. The bore has rifling although it shows signs of age and wear. It does have some shine to it but is dirt from storage and could use a cleaning. We have not attempted to clean or alter anything. As with any military surplus firearm we recommend
