ARES DEFENSE, SHRIKE 5.56 Belt fed upper for the AR-15 / M16 family of weapons. The SHRIKE is a new innovation in the firearms industry today, with this upper you can go from your old upper to a state of the art belt fed weapon w/ the pushing of 2 pins. The SHIKE can shoot both belt fed, using FN249 / Minimi links, & standard AR-15 / M16 magazines (including BETA C mags). The SHRIKE is piston driven & also has a quick change barrel. We have a special deal running on these particular weapons (while supplies last) All of these uppers were table models, meaning that they were used as displays at the Shot Show or Military Conventions. They have not been fired but have been handled & may show some VERY LIGHT scratches on the rail handguards from having an optic of vertical grip mounted on them.
