A. Haenel Model 303 Air Rifle

A Haenel spring-piston breakbarrel air rifle in .177 caliber. Cylindrical barrel, adjustable sight, wooden butt. Stamped Haenel MODELL 303. The rifle weighs about 6.5 lbs. and has a pull of 14 inches. The overall length is 42.75 inches with a 17.5-inch barrel. The rear sight is adjustable for windage, and its V-groove works well with the front sight for precise aiming. The front sight is a hooded peppercorn design. Made in Suhl, Germany (GDR) and representative of German craftsmanship. Nothing like them is made today. Overall condition is excellent. Blueing is strong, without pits or surface rust. Stock is beech, good condition with slight abrasion where cheek rests. Two 500 packs of Copperhead Wadcutter pellets included.
