This rifle has a patented (Patent #065111.00128) revolutionary gas piston system and other key features that set it apart from all other M4-type rifles. Forward charging handle, FN 5.56 Nato 1x7 twist machine gun steel barrel. I set it up with Daniel Defense fixed sights that co- witness thru Aimpoint Patrol Rifle Optic. This upper also features a wiping system on the bolt that keeps dirt and debri out of the system even with the dust cover open. The lower is a mil spec Double Star 7076 aluminum receiver complete with bullet button for california compliance. Lower has an Endine hydraulic buffer system that keeps the unit running smooth and greatly reduces muzzle rise. This is sincerely the best running rifle I have had.
