**REPRODUCTION** ASM .31 Black Powder Revolver

Reproduction. This is an Armi San Marco replica of a Colt 1849 Pocket percussion revolver, chambered in .31 Caliber. The 1849 Pocket revolver was first produced in 1850 and production continued until 1873, with approximately 340,000 manufactured over that period. More 1849 Pocket revolvers were produced than any other Colt percussion revolver. They were made in different barrel lengths and with different markings, and about 11,000 were even made in London. This revolver is blued with a case colored frame and loading lever, and a brass trigger guard and backstrap. The cylinder is engraved with battle scenes between Texas Rangers and Indians similar that seen on Dragoon revolvers. This is a nice-looking revolver with a sharp bore and the barrel is tight to the frame. This nice looking black powder percussion revolver should give many years of enjoyment. Purchased in the 1970s and stored safely away in the approx. 45 year interim. Fireable, but never fired.
