The Taurus 856 Ultra-Lite is a compact, six-shot snubnose revolver chambered in .38 Special. The Ultra-Lite models use a lightweight aluminum frame and are offered in a variety of finishes; the 2 in barrel configuration is intended for concealed carry and personal defense.
The 856UL is a DA/SA revolver with an integrated rear sight channel and a low serrated ramp front sight. It ships with a soft ergonomic rubber grip and a transfer-bar safety, and the cylinder holds six rounds of .38 Special (+P rated on these models per manufacturer documentation).
