The Springfield Armory XD Mod.2 Service is a double-stack .45 ACP pistol engineered to combine big-bore power with carry-friendly dimensions. The Service Model features a 4.0 in hammer-forged carbon steel barrel finished in Melonite and a Parkerized carbon-steel slide with Melonite treatment for corrosion resistance.
Ergonomics include Springfield's HighHand beavertail and GripZone texturing with three surface textures for enhanced purchase and recoil control.
