The Smith & Wesson Response is a 9mm pistol-caliber carbine built on an MSR-style platform with the proprietary FLEXMAG™ interchangeable magazine well system that accepts S&W M&P double-stack magazines and Glock G17/G19 magazines (adapter kits included). It is a semi-auto, blowback-operated carbine designed for compatibility with many MSR stocks, triggers, grips and charging handles.
